Our Work
At Ekalavya Foundation, our work focuses on transforming rural and tribal communities through sustainable, inclusive, and community-led initiatives. We believe that true development begins when people actively participate in shaping their own futures.

Natural Resource Management
Ekalavya Foundation promotes community-based Natural Resource Management to restore and sustain the ecological balance of rural and tribal regions. Through watershed development, soil and water conservation, afforestation, and sustainable land-use practices, we help rejuvenate local ecosystems while improving agricultural productivity. Our participatory approach ensures that villagers play a central role in planning, implementing, and maintaining these resources, leading to long-term environmental and livelihood security.

Agriculture & Livelihoods
We work with small and marginal farmers to enhance agricultural productivity, resilience, and income. Our initiatives focus on promoting climate-smart farming, organic cultivation, crop diversification, and value-added enterprises. By facilitating training, forming farmer producer groups, and building market linkages, we empower communities to move from subsistence farming to sustainable livelihoods. This integrated model strengthens rural economies while preserving traditional agricultural wisdom.

Education
Education lies at the core of our mission to empower communities. Ekalavya Foundation supports quality learning opportunities for children and youth in underprivileged areas by improving school infrastructure, providing learning materials, and offering remedial education programs. We also conduct teacher training and digital learning initiatives to enhance classroom outcomes. Our goal is to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has access to inclusive, equitable, and holistic education — a foundation for lifelong progress.
At Ekalavya Foundation, our work is driven by a simple principle: sustainable development begins with the people themselves. We design and implement programs that empower communities, strengthen livelihoods, and preserve natural resources — ensuring that every intervention is holistic, participatory, and long-lasting.
Since our inception, we have focused on improving the lives of marginalized and tribal communities in Telangana, with special emphasis on natural resource management, agriculture, education, health, and livelihoods. Our approach integrates traditional knowledge with modern methods, enabling communities to thrive economically, socially, and environmentally.
